Congregation Partners Program

The LOVEboldly Congregation Partnership Program aims to create strong, collaborative relationships between congregations and other faith-based groups and LOVEboldly. Each congregation and LOVEboldly agree to provide support to each other consistent with their capacity and ability. The inherent goal of the program is to develop bonds based on trust, rather than on transactions.

Requirements for Participation

The congregation must recognize the inherent humanity, worth, and dignity of LGBTQIA+ as created in the image and likeness of God.
The congregation must not engage in or support attempts to change the sexual orientation of LGBTQIA+ people.
The congregation must be committed to the full affirmation of LGBTQIA+ people in the life of their community. LOVEboldly defines "full affirmation" as:
- Allowing LGBTQIA+ people to be ordained, fellowshipped, rostered, etc. as clergy.
- Allowing LGBTQIA+ people to serve in all leadership roles including the offices of pastor, elder, deacon, and bishop.
- Allowing LGBTQIA+ people to be married in the life of the congregation and on church property.
